Third Party Liability (TPL) 

TPL insurance is the minimum level of insurance coverage you need to drive legally on the Kingdom s roads. 

It only covers the cost of compensating others for injuries or damages caused by the accident, from legal claims and financial damages due to the third party.  

This coverage does not provide you with any assistance or financial compensation in the event of an accident injury or repair of your vehicle. 

 

Comprehensive (COMP) 

Comprehensive insurance provides full protection and coverage against damage to your vehicle due to an accident.  

It includes by default insurance against third parties.  

In addition, the comprehensive insurance policy provides coverage for your car against damage caused by fire, theft (without neglect), natural disasters (floods, hail, storms, etc.).

The insurance company does not compensate the TPL policyholder for the repair of his own vehicle, but rather compensates the third party in the event that there is liability for the accident by the policyholder, according to the conditions and exceptions described in the insurance policy

You may renew and issue a new insurance policy no later than (14) days before the expiry date of the current policy. All you have to do is log into your account on Eltizam Platform and request a new insurance and put the "Policy Start Date" being the next day from the expiry date of the current policy.

In the event that there is any change in the data or information of the insured person or the vehicle or any information affecting the insurance policy after the purchase of the policy, the insured (the policy owner) must notify the relevant insurance company and amend the insurance policy to preserve the rights of the insured, which include but are not limited to (national address, vehicle information, policy owner information, purpose of use of the vehicle, age of the driver, city of driving the vehicle, etc..).

According to the laws and regulations of the Insurance Authority, and referring to the unified policy of compulsory insurance issued by the Insurance Authority, if it is proved that the insured made incorrect statements or concealed facts, the insurance company reserves the right of recourse to the insured. Thus, the insurance policy is not valid.
